Welbeck Associates has been created by the merging of MMBH run by Jonathan Bradley-Hoare and Peter McBride with Clark McBride run by Peter Clark. As a result we believe that we will have a greater pool of expertise to support and advise our clients.

We place a high priority on the quality of service we provide. To this end we have invested significant sums of money in computer equipment and software to assist us in providing our clients and their other advisors with a prompt, professional and friendly service.

We have also invested significant sums on our technical library to keep up to date on current legislation and business practices to assist us in advising clients. Where it is appropriate to seek further advice - then we work with a number of other professional organisations and as a result are able to consult with specialists on more complex matters.

In many instances we are able to offer fixed prices for particular work. Otherwise our fees are charged according to the time spent on a particular task, and our rates vary depending on the level of service required. We would be happy to provide you with a quotation, for our services, once we have had the opportunity to discuss your requirements. We are confident that you will agree that our rates are competitive, particularly for central London.

Partner Profiles

Jonathan Bradley-Hoare MA FCA

Jonathan qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988 with Littlejohn Fraser. He subsequently joined the TSB Bank where he spent a year as an internal auditor before being promoted to the role of finance manager. Three years later he joined Standard Chartered Bank as the Chief Accountant UK & Europe. In 1995, he became the Financial Controller of Prudential Banking Plc (now known as “Egg”) where he had the responsibility for establishing its finance department from inception.

In 2001, he established his own accountancy practice and in 2003 he moved his practice to Harley Street where in 2005 he merged with Peter McBride’s practice to form MMBH.

Jonathan is closely involved with our AIM listed clients where he responsible for the financial reporting issues and acts as Company Secretary. Jonathan has also been appointed Financial Controller to several of our AIM listed clients.

Jonathan acts as a general business advisor to number of our clients.

Peter M Clark FCA

Peter qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1975. After a spell in the corporate tax department at Baker Sutton he moved to SG Associates in 1977. SG Associates specialise in providing UK and international tax advice to wealthy corporate and personal clients, where he dealt with a wide range of tax issues. He found this experience invaluable and has since maintained a good relationship with SG Associates where we have a number of mutual clients.

In 1982 he set up his own accounting practice in West London and was involved in a number of projects for clients including assisting to raise money through the government sponsored Business Expansion Scheme.

Looking to further develop the practice he met Peter McBride in 1985 which resulted in him establishing Clark McBride. Over the last 20 odd years he has been working with a number of fantastic clients providing them with help and advice in a variety of situations. Merging with MMBH to form Welbeck Associates is he believes a seamless way to continue the good work we do for our clients.

Peter’s role within the firm is as a general practitioner, advising clients on a wide range of accounting and tax issues.

Peter McBride FCA ATII

In addition to being a Chartered Accountant, Peter is also an Associate of the Institute of Taxation. He qualified in 1973 and immediately formed his own practice. It became his full time occupation in 1975. Initially he operated a specialist tax practice and in 1979 expanded into general practice. In 1985 he met Peter Clark who took over part of his practice and formed Clark McBride. In 2003 he was introduced to Jonathan Bradley Hoare and they shared premises prior to merging both practices in 2005 as MMBH.

Peter is now based in Dubai and brings an international aspect to the firm.
