Our advice starts at:

The FREE first meeting: Going to see a new accountant can seem a bit like going to the dentist. Ouch!! It is for this reason that we feel it is particularly important to put you at ease and answer your immediate concerns.

With this in mind it is vital that you are prepared for the meeting and have listed the questions you wish to raise.

Meeting Business clients

After introductions have been made, we will start the meeting by enquiring about your business, what it does, the market, the competition and look to gain an understanding as to the current financial picture of the business. We will then discuss your aspirations, how they can be achieved and whether there are any barriers that could limit the growth of your business. An initial discussion on how these barriers could possibly be overcome may then follow.

During the course of the meeting we will outline what services we can provide to help you to run your business and to plan for growth. We will address the matter of our fees and wherever possible provide a fixed fee proposal. Otherwise we provide an indication as to our fees and provide a more detailed budget after the meeting.

We would also ensure that during the course of the meeting all of the questions you wished to raise, had been fully addressed and that you would leave with a clear understanding as to how we could work with you to help you grow your business.

Meeting Personal clients

Some clients come to us with specific tax issues which we are happy to talk though at the free initial meeting. Obviously if further research or work is required then we will outline the fees involved.

Other clients just want somebody to sort out the annual headache - yes the tax return, and to provide a watching brief over their tax affairs. Again in many instances we are able to provide a fixed fee quote for this work.
